How it began....

My career in helping began at an early age. The neighbour boy and I collected bugs, displayed them in our tent, charged admission and sent the money to a local charity.
Since that time, my career has centered around people and wellness. I spent years working in the community services designed to reach out to those forgotten by society. Emergency Departments, mental health clinics, addictions, and crisis services were my area of expertise. For the past 20 years I have focused upon my private therapy practice while continuing to train in other healing modalities. Through the years I have experienced both traumatic grief, and anticipated grief. I have experienced the free fall that grief can bring, and I have experienced the juxtaposed beauty that Mourning can bring. I have learned that mourning is essential to any grieving process. Unsupported grief becomes trauma. Finding a way into, and being with your grief is necessary. Through this process grief transforms into honouring and recovery. Presently I provide therapy services for those seeking a clearer, stronger path through grief. Insight, energy, ritual and ceremony work are an important part of what I offer.
I enjoy an active family lifestyle and truly try to "practice what I preach".
